There's Not a Good Title for this Random Post.....

I was pretty determined that the new job wouldn't interfere with fun and friends, and even though the first month has been WAY more days per week than I'd anticipated, I've managed to go out in the evenings, attend parties, concerts and do a little adventuring around the area.  I made a conscious effort to never say "I'm too tired to ....... "

What's gotten short shrift as a result of the job has been the blog and emails.  Now that I'm transitioning down to 3-4 days a week at the shop for the rest of the month,  I'm hopeful that I'll find time to sit at my desk and not fall asleep!  The job was originally supposed to be 1-2 days a week, so my fingers and toes are crossed that in September that it'll actually slow down to expected level.

Joe's said more than once lately that without the blog, he can't remember what he's done.  It's a bit of an exaggeration, but I know what he means.

I don't think that either of us will forget that Carter visited earlier this month... whether I blogged about it or not.
But what I might forget is how delightful it was to spend time with him relaxing on the back porch while the cicadas buzzed and rain dripped off the roof or what a treat it was to have him share our dinner out to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.

And now it's almost midnight and Joe's been asleep for hours (smart guy!).

But I've got a blog post written!!  Or almost written....

How about a peek at the shop?

Come in if you're in town!  It's the Community Festival tomorrow on Main Street, so the place will be hopping... (I hope!)
If I'm going to be on time to open this door in the morning, I'd better get to sleep!
