Maybe a house selling???
Yep!! We had a contract six months ago that didn't pan out, so we decided to keep news of this one under our hats for a while. But it seems that it's all going to work out! The inspection is done and the closing will be in SIX days!! It's a cash sale and since we had a full appraisal done last summer (and are selling for 33K under appraisal), we don't have that hurdle to worry about!
We'll be renting back from the new owners for a week or so after closing and then the moving van comes to haul us away to new lands!
Oh!! And another bit of great news is that Clark, who graduated in May, got a job as an entry level geologist!!!! I'm so thrilled for him since he loved his major and wanted to pursue it as his vocation. A W&L alumnus whom Clark had never met kindly forwarded his resume to the firm who wound up hiring him..... connections are wonderful things. And so are thoughtful people who help young ones get their start!!
I'm off to pack!!
WOOT WOOT!!!! Congrats on selling. Moving that quick is a blessing/curse. Good luck!
